Principles of effective communication


A principle of effective communication is a type of language what everyone uses. This is a skill what people are looking for all the time and this skill is essential for all kinds of jobs. An example of this skill is engaging the audience and general planning. Intonation is where you are speaking about some information to someone and the information is very important, the speaker changes the tone of his-her voice to suit the humanity of the speak. Interpersonal is also seen as a skill to have for people to notice. This means things like body language, gestures and lip reading. This is to give a visual description to people who may have a disability. The last skill people will be noticing is written communication what is a principle of effective communication. This is because if you wanted to write a memo or a letter to someone, they would need to know how to set up things like a email, a letter, fax and be able to do things like always know to check for spellings, punctuation, this is because if you are sending something to a professional person they need to be able to get everything right.


General communication skills
This type of ability is planning. Planning is so important because planning your work makes things so much easier for yourself and this is because you can get things done a lot quicker. Also this ability might be good for social networking sites such as Facebook, twitter and my space. This is good for general communication because you can learn the basics of communication and learn how to set things up. Catering for cultural differences is important. This is because if you have people from different countries, you will need to make sure that your information is understood by everyone. Also if people have a hearing disability, you will have to make that there is plenty of things to look at such as pictures and information so it can be more clear for people. Communicating with your audience is recommended because if they ask questions, they will be looking for a answer what can give them extra information. This also helps with confidence because you are talking to a variety of people you’ve never seen before.
Interpersonal communication skills
This is an ability which you have a conversation face to face or with more than 1 person to share or discuss your information. This is talking about people expressing themselves to the group with gestures. The group of people are looking for a clear explanation which involves hand movements and different types of body language to describe what they are showing.
Written communication skills
Written communication skills is all about how to use similes and emotions and text messages. People are looking for things to do with these type of skills because they to how good they can write a professional message. However the person receiving the message my come the conclusion that the other person has sent a inappropriate message. But if it was a face to face, the person receiving the message would laugh and know the person is joking because they could of put a smiley on the message. They need to put your sincerely at the end of an email because this shows who its from.
